MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES ON INDIAN PASSPORTS
1. BIRTH CERTIFICATE: Indian Passport, Photocopy of Passport, application on a plain sheet of paper and Photocopy of Residence Permit / Work Permit
2. FAMILY CERTIFICATE: Indian Passport, Marriage Certificate duly attested by Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi with Photocopy, Birth Certificate(s) of child or children to be included, application on a plain sheet of paper and Photocopy of Residence Permit / Work Permit
3. INCLUSION OF SPOUSE NAME: Indian Passport, Photocopy of passport, Marriage certificate duly attested by Ministry of External Affairs with Photocopy and Photocopy of Residence Permit / Work Permit
4. ATTESTATION OF SIGNATURE OF INDIAN NATIONAL: Indian Passport with Photocopy and document(s) in which signature is required and Photocopy of Residence Permit / Work Permit
5. ATTESTATION OF DOCUMENTS: India is one of the signatories to The Hague Apostille Convention and the new scheme was implemented in India on 29.8.2007. The purpose of the Convention is to reduce the two stage authentication of public documents to one single stage. If a public document is apostilled by the country of origin, it does not require re-authentication by the authorities of the country in whose territory it has to be produced, provided both the countries are party to the Apostille Convention. With India's accession to the Convention, re-authentication of documents in Greece is not necessary as Greece is also a party to the Apostille Convention.
