        KIIT University is a leading private multi-disciplinary University, known worldwide for its culture of educational excellence. Research and innovation feed into the courses, encouraging the students to think critically and creatively.        KIIT is the youngest Deemed to be University in the country to figure in this prestigious ranking. In 2019, KIIT was placed at 31st rank in India by National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF). All Engineering programmes have been accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK. Though very young, it is moving up the ladder of rankings and recognition with an increased acceleration with its focus on academics.

         About 2500 academic and research staff and many leaders in their fields with international reputation provide a stimulating learning environment and excellent standard of teaching. Even though it is a self-financing institution, KIIT is a well-structured and decentralized organization. It is the only self-financing institution in the country where top functionaries, including Chancellor and Vice Chancellor are renowned academicians. The quality is amply demonstrated by the patents held by various faculty members, the research grants coming from various agencies both in India and abroad, national and international conferences, symposiums and workshops held here and 100% placement records.

         Further, KIIT has an Industrial Training Institute (ITI), a Polytechnic, and an International School having affiliation with IGCSE-England, International Baccalaureate Programme (IBP), and CBSE India - the only one of its kind in the whole of Eastern India.
